What is Embodied Resilience?

“Deep resilience comes from the embodiment of wholeness as love.

Embodied Resilience Training is the foundation training. It presents a somatic approach to living peacefully in turbulent times. It is an experiential training based on the body. Its purpose is to make available the stability, security and resilience of your spiritual nature. This is done by generating pathways of love, from your body to Consciousness, from the vulnerabilities of your biological nature to the invulnerability of your spiritual nature.

These pathways are laid down in the moving practice of Somatic Retuning. This is based on slow, rhythmic movements, linked to the free flow of the breath. Guided by sensitivity to sensation they cultivate perceptual, experiential and behavioural pathways of love. These pathways then become the foundation upon which your body acts and moves, with and as love, even in your daily life.

These pathways of love are stabilised by the stillness practices of Somatic Intuning. These meditative practices invite a deep intimacy with your own presence. This allows the delight, peace and love of your spiritual nature to deepen the perceptual and experiential pathways of love making them more resilient and stable.

Your pathways of love are then refined and amplified through Somatic Attunement. Through passive sharing practices you can learn to experience and then embody the interconnected generosity of all life. This replaces your sense of anxious individuality with a safe and secure solidarity with others, allowing pathways of love to underpin your relationship to others and the world.

In this simple, experiential way all our trainings will provide you with a deep embodied resilience. This resilience is an expression of your nature and does not depend on external resources or circumstance. It will allow you to live in the world with calmness, courage and compassion.

Somatic Resilience trainings will benefit anyone with a natural curiosity and willingness to feel regardless of age, gender, race, creed, capability or experience.” - Godfri
